Minimum Voluntary Warranty Policy
All products sold in Australia come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law, including that they must be of acceptable quality. They are provided with a warranty that ensures the item will function for a reasonable period of time, or be repaired, replaced or refunded depending on the situation.
This applies not only to Bowlers Paradise products but nearly all goods sold in Australia.
Bowlers Paradise has developed the following to determine the time frames we believe to be reasonable and to help ensure customers receive a fair resolution. Sellers are required to provide a resolution in line with this policy and by extension in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Up to 30 days from date of purchase: | If the product is determined to be faulty through no fault of the customer, then Bowlers Paradise Policy is to offer a refund of original purchase price or exchange the product at the customer’s discretion. |
31-364 days from date of purchase: | The supplier/manufacturer will determine at no cost to the customer the cause of the fault within a reasonable time frame. If the product is determined faulty through no fault of customer, then Bowlers Paradise Policy is to offer repair free of charge in accordance with the supplier/manufacturer’s warranty. Alternatively, in the event of a ‘major failure’, customers can request a refund of the original purchase price. |
1 year or greater: | If the product is not covered by a supplier/manufacturer’s or extended warranty, then Bowlers Paradise will determine at a cost to the customer the cause of the fault within a reasonable time frame. Bowlers Paradise would advise the cost of repair to the customer before proceeding with any repairs if the customer agrees to pay for the repair cost in advance. All such repairs carried out by Bowlers Paradise, the supplier/manufacturer will add 30 days of warranty to product. |
The Minimum Voluntary Warranty Policy above shows the timeframes that we have determined to be reasonable. Should the customer’s claim qualify in either green or blue periods, the Customer will be entitled to a remedy as for Minor Issue.
